The Dreamwalker’s Query List for Oneiromantic Clarity

Dream interpretation is one of the oldest forms of divination and spiritual messaging relays known to humanity - and it has had a critical role in not only society and culture, but major turning points in history. Even collective dreams, shared dreams and collective recurring dreams have a place in certain ethnocultural spaces and conversations.

Yet oneiromancy - the act of prognostication and divination through dreams - can be one of the most challenging fields of spiritual study, exploration, and cultivation. Least of all because dreamwork can vary from region to region, culture to culture, family to family, and mind to mind. There are a number of tools at the oneiromancer’s disposal, but for the casual practitioner or layperson? Developing a consistent track record of understanding dreams can be rather difficult. Fortunately, there’s a bunch of protocols for that. Many of them can be formed by answering the questions to the below query list.

This list of questions is not exhaustive, but they are a springboard into self-assessing and remedying issues with dreams. Symbol and other detail work may be easier once you’ve fine-tuned your dreaming experience. But if you still struggle? Know that you can ask me about your dreams via regular consultation or via my office hours! I am more than happy to help you open the way to better dreaming, not just understanding dream content better.

So. Without further ado:
